As a college professor, Bret Blackmon understands the importance of educating his clients on the process of buying or selling their home. His educational background in psychology and social work give him a unique skill set in working with his clients to provide them with the best experience possible through understanding their needs, developing a relationship and comfortably walking them through each step along the way. Bret’s professionalism and passion for helping others is evident from the moment you meet him.

Bret is originally from Baton Rouge, LA but is proud to call the Mississippi Gulf Coast his home since 2014. He earned his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and Ph.D. from Louisiana State University and currently serves as an assistant professor of social work at The University of Southern Mississippi – Gulf Coast. His enjoyment of helping families to navigate every step of the buying and selling process is what drew Bret to a career in real estate.
